Garlicky Hummus

RECIPE: Garlicky Hummus

2 cups canned chick peas, drained

1/3 cup tahini

¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 tsp kosher salt

2 cloves garlic, halved

2 Tbsp olive oil

In a food processor blend the chick peas with the garlic, salt, lemon juices and tahini – process until smooth.

Season with additional salt as required.

If it isn’t smooth enough, add a bit more olive oil. Transfer mixture to a serving bowl and refrigerate until ready to use.

For a twist on your hummus – blend in 2 roasted red peppers or use peanut butter instead of the tahini.
